Dr. Heather Thompson Day will present on diversity. Dr. Day believes her calling is to stand in the gaps of our churches for young people. The Myth of Race is Heather’s diversity training seminar. Since biologically race is a myth, what we are talking about when we discuss race is really our different experiences. In this seminar Heather will break down why race is a myth, why you should never talk over anyone else’s experience, and white privilege.
