Camp History
Pine Lake Retreat Center is the former self-supporting Groveland Academy which was acquired by the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in 1994 for the purpose of a small group retreat facility.

Information on Property and Camp Facilities
Pine Lake Retreat Center is a 120-acre rural facility located only 45 minutes from Orlando and the central Florida attractions. We can accommodate up to 200 people in a variety of housing facilities, including a dormitory, multiple guest housing and family chalet units. Kitchen facilities and furnishings are included in all housing. We also offer tent camping and RV spaces with hookups, a bath house and laundry room. Our meeting facilities can accommodate 140-250 people with three conference rooms holding 20-40 people each. Our cafeteria can serve 150+. Other facilities include an air-conditioned gym and screened gazebo. A picnic pavilion and bath house are located next to the pool.

Camp Programs and Special Features
The retreat center boasts a new 9-hole Bible-based mini golf course. Other activities include basketball, softball, soccer, shuffleboard, sand volleyball, swimming pool with jacuzzi, and a paved walking/biking trail. We also offer hayrides and campfires. With a warm climate it is an excellent place for snowbirds to winter in their RVs.
