Camp History
Cohutta Spring was purchase in 1971 and started summer camp ministry in 1979.  Previous camp ministry was conducted at Atoka Pines and Camp Cumby-Gay.

Information on Propery and Camp Facilities
Cohutta Springs Youth Camp is located on 800 acres that are nestled in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. 
 A mountain stream feeds the water of the 55-acre lake.

Along with this spectacular natural setting, you'll find playing fields, horseback riding trails, a barn, stables, a riding arena, a basketball/volleyball gym, a climbing wall, a paintball course, a wakeboard/ski dock, a swimming pool, a diving board, the blob, a 150-foot waterslide, a creative arts room, a mountain lore area, a dining hall, two campfire bowls, a model rocketry area, a props and costumes building, an archery range, a BMX track, mountain biking trails, hiking trails, camper cabins, staff housing, a videography and editing room, a music performance room, a clinic, a camp store, an office, a line call area, a flying chair, a 1/4 mile zipline and a giant rope swing.

Camp Programs and Special Features
We offer our "REG" Camp programs for ages 7-18 as well as our "RAD" Camp programs for ages 13-17.  During our  "REG" Camps, each morning the camper will participate in the activity chosen during registration and then rotate to three different activities in the afternoon. Activities include:  Archery, Basketball, the blob, BMX Biking, Canoeing, Creative Arts, Drama, Fishing, Fitness, Flying Chair, Giant Rope Swing, Golf, Gymnastics/Acrosports, Horsemanship, Kayaking, Model Rocketry, Mountain Biking, Mountain Lore, Music Performance, Paintball, Rock Climbing, Spiritual Body Building, Sports, Swimming, Surfing, Videography, Wakeboarding/Skiing, Water Slide, Wilderness Survival and Zipline.

Camp Mission
Cohutta Springs Youth Camp has been a significant part of kids' lives for over 30 years.  Our camp values include a commitment to developing Christian character through relationships, Christ-centered campfires and exciting activities in God's great outdoors!  If seven days of spiritual impact, wrapped up in the most fun a kid can have, is what you are seeking this summer, it's time to register for Cohutta Spring Youth Camp.

Directions to Camp

From Atlanta GA:
Travel North on  I-75 to US Hwy. 411, Cartersville (Exit 293).  Turn right and travel North on US Hwy 411 through Chatsworth and Eton. Approximately 4 miles North of Eton, turn right onto Cohutta Springs Road.  Follow the road until you come to the Cohutta Springs entrance on your left.

From Calhoun, GA:
Travel North on I-75 to US Hwy. 225, (Exit 317). Turn right and travel North on US Hwy 225 to US Hwy 52/76.  Turn right and travel East through Chatsworth to Hwy 411.   Turn left and travel on US Hwy 411 through Eton.  Approximately 4 miles North of Eton, turn right onto Cohutta Springs Road.  Follow the road until you come to the Cohutta Springs entrance on your left.


From Chattanooga, TN:
Travel South on I-75 to Dalton Exit 333.  Turn left on Walnut Ave (Hwy. 52/76) and travel East to US Hwy 411 in Chatsworth.  Turn left and travel North on US HWY 411 through Eton.  Approximately 4 miles North of Eton, turn right onto Cohutta Springs Road.  Follow the road until you come to the Cohutta Springs entrance on your left.

From East Tennessee:
Travel South on US HWY 411.  Approximately 7 miles South of the Georgia/Tennessee state line, turn left onto Cohutta Springs Road.  Follow the road until you come to the Cohutta Springs entrance on your left.

Cohutta Springs is one and a half hours from the Atlanta airport and one hour south of the Chattanooga Airport.
