Camp History
Pine Springs Ranch Christian Youth Camp and Retreat Center is located on a mountainous 480 acre site in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, 25 miles East of Hemet, California. Purchased in 1961, it replaced a 16 acre facility near Idyllwild.Information on Property and Camp Facilities
Pine Springs Ranch's lodging facilities include 20 cabins and a lodge. The 20 cabins are equally divided into two villages, each with a central bathroom facility. All of the cabins are insulated, heated, and can accommodate 10 people per cabin. The lodge has 79 motel-style rooms, each with two queen beds, two trundle beds, and a private bathroom. Four of our seven meeting areas are housed inside the lodge, and with their capacities of 30 - 400, these meeting facilities accommodate many needs. Two additional meeting rooms, each seating 80 people, are housed in our multipurpose building. The Nature Center, with a capacity of 49, completes the meeting room options. The swimming pool and bath house are open from mid-April through the end of September, weather permitting. Pine Springs Ranch offers a low and high challenge course and climbing wall, several hiking trails maintained by conference Pathfinder Clubs, and access to the Pacific Crest Trail.
