Camp History
Camp Wakonda is a recently redeveloped Girl Scout camp located in central Wisconsin. Camp Wakonda is home of the yearly camp meeting and youth camping program.

Information on Property and Camp Facilities
This 220-acre camp has approximately 700 campsites, including 258 cabins, a cafeteria, 90 RV sites, and general camp meeting facilities. Two self-contained lodges offer year-round facilities for 64 people; either dormitory or private bath facilities are provided. Comfortable break-away and meeting rooms offer natural and lakeside views. The waterfront area includes two lakes with 300 feet of developed waterfront for swimming, waterskiing, and sailing.

Camp Programs and Special Features
Horses, ballfields, a nature center, canoes, a climbing wall, the BLOB, a Ski Nautique enhance camp activities. In less than 30 minutes, one can drive to the Cascade ski area and the Wisconsin Dells. Noah's Ark, the largest water theme park in North America, is located in the Dells area. Camp Wakonda is located 60 miles from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, home of the EAA International Fly-In. The world-famous House on the Rock is within easy access.

Directions to Camp
Camp Wakonda is located five miles west of Westfield on County Trunk E. Westfield is 25 miles north of Portage and 45 miles south of Stevens Point on U.S. Highway 39/51.
