Camp Yorktown Bay Christian Camps & Conference Association Camp Calendar
Camp History Camp Yorktown Bay was established in 1961 by the Navy League. In 1965 the camp was donated to the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference and has been in continuous operation since that time. Information on Property and Camp Facilities Camp Yorktown Bay is located on Lake Ouachita, approximately 15 miles NW of Hot Springs, AR. The lake front property includes more than 80 acres of wooded land and camp facilities. There are 20 cabins with a capacity of 160. A separate lodge, with kitchen and great room, sleeps 32. A 16-unit motel is also available for lodging. The cafeteria and dining hall will accommodate 300 guests. The camp is operated year-round. Camp Programs and Special Features In addition to summer camp, CYB also offers Blind Camp, Family Camp, and an annual 1/2 marathon. Activities include a water ski program, scuba diving, canoeing, swimming, sailing, rock climbing, horsemanship, archery, gymnastics, and crafts. Turn right onto 227 North. Go approximately 6 miles and turn left at the big Camp Yorktown Bay sign and continue about two miles to the camp.
