Camp History
The camp is one of the former homebase sites for the Cherokee Indians.
The camp was purchased in 1959, and the first camp was held in 1960. The first cabins were built in 1962. Many additions took place through the following years. A swimming pool was added in 1986. The camp is currently in the process of major renovation, with new cabins completed in 2000-2001.
