Camp History
The first junior camp was held in 1965 when Adventist young people came out to the Hilbert Logging Camp to spend a week. Volunteers, many of them loggers, then built cabins and other facilities so the junior camp could continue to grow. It was named Camp Lorraine after the wife of former Vank Island logger, Art Hiebert.

Information on Property and Camp Facilities
Camp Lorraine operates for approximately twelve weeks each summer, hosting church camp meetings and the summer camp program in addition to local non-Adventist church groups and youth organizations.
