Camp History Originally purchased by the Missouri Adventist Society in 1959, Camp Heritage began operation as a youth camp in 1965. Information on Property and Camp Facilities The Camp is located on beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in mid-southern Missouri. Camp Heritage offers 14 youth cabins, housing nine campers each, with shared bath facilities. There are six guest cabins that sleep four people each. All have private baths, and four have kitchenettes. Eight deluxe guest rooms are available with linens supplied. Peaceful hiking trails are available on our property. The camp also has a modern cafeteria seating 120 people, a chapel seating 200, and two outdoor chapels. The camp is open year-round and is available for group rental. Camp Programs and Special Features Recreation includes a ballfield, Natique ski boats, and horses. Special camps include Adventurers, Junior, Teen, Specialty and Family. Activities include skiing, swimming, archery, horsemanship, crafts, super launcher and canoeing. Camp Mission Current camp info goes here. Directions to Camp From St. Louis: I-44 South to exit 150 following Hwy. 7 west approx. 35 miles. Then turn right on County Road Z North. Travel 2 miles then turn right on Coffman Bend Dr. (also Z2) following another 19 miles to a fork. Take the gravel road to the left. Camp Heritage signs will be immediately on your left. From Kansas City: I-71 South to Hwy 7 West. Follow 3 miles beyond Climax Springs. Turn left on Z... (see above directions from Z). From Springfield: Hwy 65 north to the town of Cross Timbers. Turn right on P and follow one mile. Left on VV. Right on AA. Right on Hwy. 7 to left on Z... (see above directions from Z).
