Camp Arrowhead Camp Calendar
Camp History The land was acquired in 1965. It is Nebraska's first junior campsite. Construction of the lodge began in 1968. The first junior camp was held in 1969 with 140 campers. The camp was built by the laymembers. Information on Property and Camp Facilities Camp Arrowhead is a full-service camp with a cafeteria/dining hall, meeting pavilion, 16 cabins with bunk beds housing eight campers and a counselor, a good-sized pond for swimming and canoeing, hiking trails, shower houses, and some cabins with restrooms. Johnson Lake is nearby for skiing and sailing. Camp Programs and Special Features We host a science camp (ages 10 and up). We also hold a yearly spiritual retreat and a Labor Day retreat for families. Camp Arrowhead is a great place for family reunions/retreats and special church retreats. Camp Mission Current camp info goes here. Directions to Camp Exit at the Lexington/I-80 interchange. Go 1 mile north toward Lexington. At the first paved road to the west, turn left. Follow that road to a dead-end. Turn left and drive over the interstate. Follow the road to the camp.
