Camp Whitesand Accredited by the Saskatchewan Camping Association
Camp History Camp Whitesand has utilized the 160 acres north of Theodore since 1985. The transformation from treed farmland to a residential campground is ongoing. Camp Whitesand is accredited with the Saskatchewan Camping Association. Information on Property and Camp Facilities Camp Whitesand is located on the Whitesand River with a beachfront campfire site and miles of trails through poplar forest. The fifteen duplex style cabins will sleep approximately 100 people. Ten smaller rooms that will accommodate 2-4 people each are located in Poplar Lodge. The newly built cafeteria can accommodate up to 120 people. Other facilities include a large auditorium/gymnasium, large meeting rooms, an outdoor climbing wall, a high ropes challenge course and horse facilities. Camp Programs and Special Features Camp Whitesand offers a wide range of activities for young people ages 7-16 each summer. Horseback riding, rock climbing, high ropes challenge, canoeing, archery, outdoor adventure, crafts, and drama classes provide opportunities for the committed Christian staff to share with campers, the excitement and joy that is a part of the Christian life. Directions to Camp From Highway 16, turn northeast on the first grid road west of Theodore, Saskatchewan. Go approximately two miles east, turn north, go two more miles, turn east, go one mile, turn north, and go 1/4 mile to the camp.
